THIS IS THE 1ST YEAR TOYOTA MADE A TRUCK, MAKING IT A CLASSIC

:rofl2:  nice truck and good price, but he's not too bright!
RIP KYOTA

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

Maybe, but technically the fj45 pickup would be the first I know of, and those were sold way before first gens!  A lot of people are confused when it comes to toyota lineage  :screwy:

Technically the first toyota 4x4 made was in 1950 and it was the toyota BJ prototype. I am not sure how long they had been making cars before that though but that was the first 4x4. The BJ was the first toyota 4x4 available in the USA in 1953 but only by custom order. They began to mass produce and export BJ 25s in 1957 if I recall correctly.

I'm sayin 4wd truck, not just 4x4   I'm too lazy to look at the wikipedia page, but the earliest 4wd trucks I remember were the old landcruiser with a truck bed, the fj45.

Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.
