Bed Rail caps/protectors for 84-88

Does anyone know where to get some bed rail caps/protectors for 84-88 trucks.  I have some damage I want to cover up plus I want to strengthen the rails if I can.  Seems like nobody makes them.

I did.  They told me no dice.  I also tried all the websites I could find that sell truck accessories and the web sites of the larger mfg of truck stuff.  DeeZee, Lund and the like.

yo i got a set on my 94.i put them on to hide some damage.its been 3 years and now bed rail are rotted out cause mosture lays underneith.didnt even know it was rusting till this winter.in lik 6 months went from small rust bubbles under paint to flaking off rust.

You could make your own using small but long peices of angle iron.  Could bolt it right to the bed.

I know at the tralier shop I use to work at we could make them. Just cut a piece of diamond plate aluminum to length and brake it to fit.
