Slightly off topic but those electric chainsaws work great for trail maintainence and are in fact prefered by our local Forest Service and BLM during fire restrictions.  I use my inverter, that was originally installed for running an angle grinder for trail repairs, and an extension cord, uncut of course :nana: , to run my little electric chainsaw.  It is smaller and easier than my big Stihl and can be stowed in my gear quite easily.

Must be a big inverter as my little electric chainsaw needs 10 amps at 120vac..........
