wanted:Benchseat for 83-Found one!
« on: Jul 12, 2004, 09:24:02 AM »
I have two FFA(future fourwheelers of America)kids and need a bench seat for the three of us.  Hate to give up the bucket seats, but must do it!
Hoping to find a factory seat in the Fresno Ca area.  -Found a cheapo bench seat at the local Pick-A-Part !
Help!

I had a hunch it was Oregon.   I'm not headed that way.  Thanks anyway.

 Glad to hear-no spring injuries.

Where are you located?(is there really a lovely Clovis in New Mexico as well as CA?) :dunno:  I liked to see it before guessing value.  I think shipping is going to put it our of desirable price anyway.

Anyone in the Central Ca have a benchseat?

Thanks yotaboy79.  I was hoping someone within central Ca would have one worth my time.  I thought buckets seats would be harder to locate, but I guess most have traded their bench for buckets by now!  :hammer:

Anyone else have an leads?  I'll check with Marlin's shop tomorrow!

-Actually, my wife wants her car back too!

Hey ladderguy, have you tried Action Truck and Van there in Fresno? They should be in the yellow pages. There is also a place ran by some Hmongs on I think Muscat and Chestnut somewhere's off of hwy 99. Dean at the shop will know exactly where it is. I looked for rr seats for my runner from Bakersfield to Sac and finally fpund them in San Jose. A-1 Auto Dismantlers @ 408-225-5313. They had a lot of Toy parts but were some what pricey. Good luck.
Oh btw, I needed the rr seat for my 3 FFA's  ;)

I finally made to the local Pick-A-Part(aka-pick your nose) and found a bench seat out out of a Isuzu with head rests and a cut away that should wrap around the crawler shifter(with out dog legging the shifter-Way cool!)
However, I think the seat will not move foward so my wife won't be able to drive it anymore! :rivers:

Thanks for everyones effort!
