Tacoma Rear End

  For sale 1996 Tacoma 4cyl rear axle :moon:, complete. $500.00    60 inch wide.   I was going to put this in my truck but monye's been a bit tight.   :rivers:  Also I have a 83" rear if anyone wants it, good to go for $150 complete.

Are these things really worth that much ? What is all included in the price ?

I checked on pricing at local junkyards and they were going for $650. The pros of the Tacoma rear are a wider stance, larger drums, and larger ring and pinoin.  All included just means you get the whole assembly not just a housing.

No 83 is the year of the axle not the width.

Good luck getting what your asking for the axles espicially the 83 since the everybody wants the wider one and the only good about that axle in the third.

Truth beknown I don't really care what I get for it, at least $300 would be nice.
I just got another 83 from a friend and I bought an 87 for a local yard. Now I using the 3rd from the 83 a mock up diff so I can shave the bottom of the 87 housing.
