Wow where do I begin. What a long day saturday. Left the house at 5am got to johnson valley 8am had a :pokinit: load of problems but still wheeled like a madman, left there at 11:30pm drove home in front wheel drive 4HI got home at 330am. We ran sledgehammer.... What a badass f*@kin trail. We were kicking *** and crawling right through.. then we hit some traffic, group of 4 rigs infront of us kind of held us up. At one point I thought i snapped a rear shaft then matty noticed my rear D-shaft hanging down. So we winch up to a flat spot so we could wrench. Pulled the shaft off, My buddy had a spare but it was to long. Regardless, the strap bolt broke clean inside the pinion yoke and we had no way of getting it out. So were pretty much done with the trail, all theres left is about a 30yard sand dune to the top of the hill. Well in front wheel drive only, and 4 HI while overheating it took us 5 hours to make it to the top.  Finally made it back onto the 247 and we went our own ways, driving in front wheel drive 4hi, i was doing about 55mph when all of sudden Jeep dips to the left and pulls hard. I pull over and of course, the tire spit out the valve stem. Now its midnight, on the side of the 247 windy as hell, I changed out the tire and got back on the road. Okay enough of this ... picture below...

My buddy has some cool pics too, not sure if he got any of the actual damage or the recovery. Bottom line, i had a freakin blast, loved the JV wheeling. Ive got a new list of spares i will carry from now on. Cant wait to get back out there.
