So last night i started on my buddys runner. he has a 90 that toyocrawler sasd with a toyota front. and then the kid bought some full size axles. kinda gay, he got a D44 and a 10 bolt rear. the 44 has arb the 10 has a detroit. they both have 4:88s
anyway last night i got his rear axle out and started cutting off some stuff but ran out of gas so tonight im gonna finish cutting. also take out the body lift he has on. were gonna lower the front a couple of inches in the suspension too. its wayyy to big right now.
i will get some pictures up probably tomorrow as long as i remember the camera.

this is how it looked before the first sas. the back end is still the same height now but the front has about 12 inches of total lift. major gangster lean on it now

i didnt want to start a whole new build thread, because its gonna be so short and its not my truck, im just doing the work for a friend. so im posting in in here

well taking out the body lift for one. going through the frame with the shackels, and im debating cutting ur cross member off but i think im gonna leave it and weld the new one underneath it.
but mainly the 3 inch body lift gone. and through the fram with the shackels.

so waited around all day for the guy to bring the gas, but hes a football coach and had a team party after the game today i guess so he never showed up so me and riley didnt get hardly anything done. we just unbolted some other stuff and cut his exhaust shorter.

here are pics from the progress the other night hopefully we i will be able to get it all torched off tomorrow (friday) because i work saturday.
its tall those are 35s its clearin by that much... way tall

the back is done. he changed axles on me like 3 times. so now the back has a 60 and hes looking for a 60 front maybe.....i keep leaving the camera. but we havent touched it for like over a week, he has to order some stuff first.

well for now he still has that 10 bolt front. but everyone says completly differnt things about 10 bolt front. but from the people who i actually trust who know what they are talking about say 10 bolts are stronger than a 44. and this one is supposedly a chromod 10 with and arb. so hes gonna rock it till he breaks it unless he finds a cheap 60 within the next 2 days

the kid that sold him the axles didnt know what they were they were both 10 bolts..he said it was a 44 tho.

good deal with those lines ill get them soon.

its not gonna be there long. riley doesnt think before he does some things, so now he is gonna take it back to the shop we had it at and have kc weld it all up. i guess when riley had the first guy tack the hangers up when i wasnt there he put them on backwards.

My names KC and I could weld it anytime anyday.     You guys really need to take those blocks out of the back. The front would be easy to lower like you said put the shackle in the frame and move the mount for the front of the leaf spring forward and up.
