if i were you id move the rear spring hangar back and run a longer single shackle. that or just run the toy/chevy double shackle setup. front spring hanger? as in the front hanger for the rear springs, or the front springs?

i thought you had to move the front hanger for the rear springs up?

I usually soak it for a day or two first.

Tighten the puller a little bit at a time and bang on the arm (pretty hard, with a BFH) a few times between each tightening. If you tighten it too tight you will know because the puller will break! Wear safety glasses please when you do this...

you are using a pitman arm puller correct?

My local Autozone rents specialty tools like a pitman arm puller for free.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

There are a couple different sizes of pullers.....make sure you get one that the "ears" will fit between the arm and the bottom of the box. I would imagine that it is virtually impossible to remove the arm without this tool (without cutting) I would also recommend picking up some type of service manual (Haynes or Chiltons) while you are there!

Yea autozone here rents em but DONT use an impact on it.  They always end up breaking then your out the cash for a broken tool.  I think they say right on em not to use an impact but F it.
