82 Tcase to 85 Tranny

Just curious if a Transfer case from an 82 will bolt up to a tranny from an 85? I'm swapping in a 7MGE but I need the 85 tranny.

Yes it will bolt up fine.  All you'll have to do is make a plate for the old transfer lever if it was a forward shift style case.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??
