I think we have done this thread before, but since Red just made it through basic training its a good topic: :usa:

1) Branch: USAF
2) time served: 3 years 8 months active (I got out early to go back to school)
3) deployments/deployed locations: Never "deployed" but here is where I was stationed: 87-88 Mather AFB (ATC base training navigators outside of Sacramento, now closed ). 88-89 Kunsan AB (PACAF F-16 base that had nukes at the time :beerchug:). 89-90 Vandenberg AFB (SAC base for missile testing etc :inthedark:).
4) whatever else...: I was a cop, which meant at my first base I was a glorified gate guard. Kunsan was fun and by the time I made it to Vandenberg I had promoted early to NCO status (no more gates!!!! :driving:).

I think I might know you... you gave me a ride from the bomb dump over to motor pool in a white minivan- caravan or windstar?- and we talked about wheeling, but never went.  When you get back, hit me up and we'll go run some trails.

I would do it all over again if I didn't have a family, I loved being called up and deployed at a moments notice.
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point, in your rambling incoherent response, were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Active duty Army,  5 years in and 3 more to go,  Currently in Afganistan.  You can ge lots of cool off road gear in the army.  Just saying.   Anyways Infantry is my job.  They let us drive really cool looking trucks and dont really get that made when you get them stuck or flip the in the waddies.  They think we are just a bunch of dumb grunts.  Jokes on them, they pay us to shoot guns and drive off road all the time.  Its a country boys dream!!!
