News says Little rock got hit with a tornado  air port hanger damaged   it was caute on a dash cam.

That tornado tore up a lot of stuff for a long way, lucky it was small. I called my sister who lives in a house trailer in Garner to tell her to head up here since she was directly in it's path & we have a storm cellar. We were out of the path of that tornado (barely...like about 5 miles); when she got here, her & my parents all went down into the fraidy hole & I went out onto the front porch & watched it pass by. It had weakened by then but the outflow still drenched me with vertical wind driven rain in about 20 - 30 seconds flat as it went past.

I wonder how many tornados we're gonna get outta this batch of thunderstorms....looks heavy on the radar. The flooded areas are going to stay flooded a while it appears.

I thought about getting my dads aluminum boat out & going through some of the flooded areas & seeing if anyone needed anything I could help with like groceries or batteries etc. but then I realized a few things #1 - I'm not that kind of a person, #2 - I'd probably get accused of being up to no good & #3 - my dad's let his boat go to hell to the point it's no longer water worthy


So I wish them all luck & thank God I was smart enough to buy a home that wasn't in a flood prone area.

We keep getting hammered by the tornados this year, I knew the guy & his son killed in Conway county. It's a small world; out of all the people in the state I happen to know two out of the seven or so that were killed. I haven't heard the names of the folks killed up around Bee Branch or Damascus....I might know them too.
