so i am proposing a get together in nw oregon.

i dont know where, as i have only lived here a year. but i hear browns camp is close.

i know there are 2 new members that live in pdx here, and a few others as well.

i know gotrocks is fairly close.

so how bout it guys??

how bout a family freindly wheeling trip in the near future?
say mid april??

please put down your suggestions for time/place and we will go from there!1

thanks guys

crawlerdan

come on guys, there is 23 marlin members within 150  miles of me.

those of you unable to attend mcr7 lets get together!!

Cheesemaker

I'd love to.  But I don't have any weekends open in April.  But I'd have to ride pregnant dog with somebody, since my truck is stock!

And I've here my entire life and have never been to TSF OHV in Brown's camp.  But it's time for me to check it out!

Another thing is that if there are too many rigs in a group at TSF without a special permit, we can get fined!  FYI!
Miss ya Dean (4THEWKN) & Kyle (KYOTA)!!

i'm down!! normally i can atleast get 3 trucks to come up with me if we plan far enough ahead. i already plan on going up with alot of people july4-6 or the weekend after havent fully decided yet or hell maybe both.
i'd say browns camp for sure!
probably meet at rogers camp because its just right off the highway or we can meet in like north plains if everyone is coming from the eastside of browns.

now were talking.

july is fine if you already have a few rigs scheduled then

lets make an official date!!

KYOTA

TSF is the best place to wheel up here. i heard there is some good stuff in bend and prineville but thats a 3 hour drive compared to a 40 minute drive.

well the 4th of july run is what alot of people call it last year there was like 15-20 trucks up there but that was just in the group that i was with. Alot of the people stay up a whole week... like one weekend til the end of the next. but i cant get that type of time off so i go up both weekends.

i'll get with the people and see what weekend everyone is going up and get back to you

crawlerdan

crawlerdan

lets get a date set!! i want to start inviting people and a date is useful!!

toyo487

I'll try to make it but weekends are hard for me to get off work, but I can try.

Hey Oregon Crawlers . I told my friend about this and he wants to go, but he doesn't believe that his truck is built enough. We live in eugene area and never been up in that area. He has a 00 Taco x-cab, 4cyl, auto, lift, 33" bfg mt, otherwise stock. He wants to know if he will be able to do anything or just get stuck. Also some pics might help persuade him into going. Hopefully my build will be done :crossed:, but doubt it :rivers:

anybody is welcome. even a stocker. as i understand browns camp has stuff for all rigs, and bikes, and kids and doggies. also we have recovery equipment

toyo487

yes his truck would do just fine, I have been to browns camp plenty of times in a stock or close to stock rig and did just fine.

depends on which trails you want to run but there are some that stock rigs will make it through

crawlerdan

date???

post a suggestion and i will creat a poll

toyotanner

any weekend is generally good. i talked to some people and they dont know whether they are going up july 4-6 or the weekend after but either way there are normally some rigs up there around that time

yotaboy79

pick a date and ill probably show up depending on what trails you want to run (the harder the better imo) i could probably have anywhere from 2-6 rigs with me

yotaboy79

your welcome in my passenger seat if i go

hogs back is fun cause i like trying to squeeze through the trees.

7 up isnt bad when its dry if you crawl it. and if you do roll its a fun ride lol, ive got a grudge against that trail so i have to make it without rolling this time

and rocky uphill is kinda boring i normaly run it backwards as a short cut to the good parts of archers

Cheesemaker

I'm with ya Yotaboy.  So, what weekend and month we want?  I have a screwed up schedule, but if I know in advance, I could swap some days around!  I've got June 28/29 off.  If not then pick a weekend and I'll trade for a saturday!  Come on guys!  Some of you need to test out the rigs before MCR!
