1st gen runner on ext cab frame
« on: Mar 17, 2008, 10:17:34 PM »
Don't get you hopes up, it is just a Q. I am just wondering if anyone has done it? I have seen a ext cab on a runner frame but not the other way around. People say that runners dont have a long enough wheel base, but long beds and ext cabs dont have enough room but have the desired wheel base. I think it would be a cool project. If anyone has done it lets see some pics!

Runners have the same wheel base as the standard cab short bed so you will have to relocate the rear axle. The ext-cabs have a longer fuel tank so by moving the rear axle forward you might have to use the short tank from the Runner or relocate the fuel tank.
