Anyone goin four wheelin around central cali like bald mountain soon

I just got my yota a month ago and am really anxious to go wheelin so is anybody heading up to bald mountain or surrounding areas soon i dont want to go by myself it is my first time so dusy is out for me.


as for my truck
84 toyota 4x4 pickup
33 bfg allterrains
about a 3 in lift (not body)
and i got a cb i gues to call for help
no lockers (but they are coming)

Im not looking to do anything crazy as it is my first time (excluding some local mud runs)

Madmanweaver444 , with your setup it'll be difficult if not impossible to make it to the top of Bald mnt.
If you haven't wheeled in the snow yet your better off going to Beashore rd or Skyranch rd in Bass lake.

My rig is gonna be out of commission for a couple weeks . Hopefully we get another storm or 2  before my trucks done.

Bald mountain slushy and rutted spent the last 2 hours saving people to no evail the bridge is realy narrow after today
try to get up some pics.

does anyone know about what time of year the snow melts and when do they open up the other ohv trails in the area

The Four Wheel Drive Club of Fresno is responsible for opening the trails,........Keep an eye out on this link, they open the trails and post up on their website right afterwards....

Right, it only gets hard towards the end.  It is a very nice drive and if the wether is warm, you can actually swim out to some rocks that are only covered by about 3 foot of water.

Didn't even try.  The weather was very abrupt and we packed it up on Sunday, the day I was planning on running.

If i ever get my pics down loaded the bridge is narrow so i'm wating a couple weeks even the road is a little ruff .
