toy rears in front, with 3 more rears underneath work good enough for me...

Hell yeh another vote for rears in the front!  They are the #1 spring for the front, I dont care what some jerk bags try and tell ya!

my only reasoning as to why I asked this question is because those are the three sets that I have on hand, and I literally have NO money for anything, really.

WHITE_TRASH

It doesnt matter if you have any money or not, rears up front are by far the best solution for the front spring issue.  At most you might be looking at about $20 for metal for the shackles and bolts if you need them.

I just picked up Toyota 2wd springs for the front. Paid $100 at wrecking yard. Thinking of adding some leaves from either the front or rear packs I'm removing.
Also picked up a pair of Blazer springs for the rear. I will need to move hangers foward 5 or 6".
How well do the soft 2wd springs in front catch the heavy front of the truck as it drops into a drop-off on the trail?

I have always wondered, does putting rears in the front lift.  I want 4" of lift and plan on getting new springs. But I am still exploring my options

WHITE_TRASH

If you dont add any leaf's to the pack then at best you will get about 2" of lift.  By adding a few leaf's with some arch, the lift you get will go up with each additional leaf you add.

Rears up front.  3 inch blocks in rear.  Super flexy.  Watch your drive lines.
