Hey, everybody !

I'm the new one !
I own for the last 12 years a BJ 60, Diesel 1983, a wonderful truck who brought me from Montreal to California several time, cruising in the desert in  Utah, climbing mountain 12 000 ft in Colarado, descending the Baja to Cabo san lucas, starting in the snow every winter's bringing the kids to school .... Cruising in Oaxaca (Mexico)...With out any major mechanical problem...
But things are what they are and my 1983 is starting to be to rusty....with is
450 000 Kh.
So i descided to find an other one several month ago., and bought this FJ 62 1989, 280 000 Kh, it's a great truck too, a little bit too heavy on gas (nothing perfect..) and so far I'm please ...
exept for this anowing noise coming from the transfer case only when I'm decelereting...
I wonder what the heck is that and thi is  the reason why I joint the discusion group.
Good ride to everyone

Pinion nut

driveshaft slipyoke and u joint
preload setting in the t-case

One of these is sure to solve the problem

Good Luck, Scott
