Toy cases w/rockwells and 53???

Would toyota engine, tranny and t-cases hold up to 2 1/2 rockwells and 53" tires?

here is what I am thinking about:

22r @ about 90 hp
G52 tranny
Dual cases with 4.7 in both cases
I am figuring 21 spline imput into the first case, 23 spline into the second case, marlins selectable t-case so as to beef up the output shaft and also to have fwd only.

Any imput on this idea is appreciated..

The G52 will explode.  There is a guy on Pirates running a 22re dualled with rockwells and 44's, he hasnt had any problems that I know of.

sure they'd hold up, it's not like having axles that run a 6.something ratio are gonna be much stress on a toy drivetrain

your main issue is that your transmission will be your weak link.  a rockwell sure isn't going to surrender to a toy transmission if it gets into a good bind.  might be a good idea to look into a W56 or better yet, an R151F.  could always get the OTT industries adaptors to run an SM456 as well

Hopefully its only a trail rig that will be trailered otherwise I doubt that engine choice could turn those tires above 50 MPH without flooring it.

Actually, now that I think of it, CA has a 44" tire limit (im sure other states have some limits as well) so its probabely just a trail rig.

As a trail rig, I would say that the G54 tranny will do just fine. Its not like you can do any burn outs anyways and your be crawling alot so I wouldn't worry about the trans.
