3500 is a great deal for the control arms and shocks. :pokinit: its a little over 700 per shock for new ones

a monkey probly couldnt weld worth a s@#t!  some people just dont feel confident that they can throw down a good enough weld for sespension and cross member purposes.  i dont see a problem with the fact that he might have to spend a little more for a SAS to have someone else weld it.  besides not everyone just has easy access to a welder to do it themselves.

So ive been rebuilding my 3rz oil pin to be a rear sume, i cut the pan in halh about 1.5" from the flange and turned it 180*. im currently in the process of welding it back together.  Its about 75% done.  i need to find some tube that is the same diameter as the stock pickup tube to make it fit the new pan too.  i will post some pics tomorrow

mod?  we arent on yota tech.  hehe
but nope, its too small, the 3rz pickup tube is bigger than a 3.0 and 22re

thanks, i have some silver paint for it too, some cheap duplicolor 1 stage.
i spent all night building a pickup tube and oil pan for my 3rz. they didnt turn out too bad, ive got 3" left on the pan to finish up, then i can clean it up and add some metal filler to all of my welds to make sure it doesnt leak.

I totally wish I had an action shot in the mud  :shake: we got all excited and totally forgot, I hate mud sooooo much, it's like it says "rally in me, it'll be awesome"  then you spend 3 hours with hi-pressure industrial sprayers and it still has :pokinit: packed in between the pads and rotors

today i got the 22re outta my 90 4runner, and the 3rz is almost ready to go in, i just need a clutch disc.
i took the stock taco oilpan and cut it in half, and welded it back together so its a rear sump, then i built my own pickup tube too.

a uhh 3.0 clutch might work for it. not the best option but might work or even the 2.4 would work
