Well I thought that I only busted my bottom knuckle cap.

Nope bent the top of my axle ball where the bearing seats.

I got a new to me housing and started cleaning it up. Did a little body work on my fender that got smashed.

Still welding on all of the gussets and trusses. Only welding small amounts at a time not to heat up to much. Almost done with that and should be back in the truck this weekend.

Got the axle done and back under the truck. Still on the trailer but now I can drive it off.

Welded up the drain plug and ground it down, knuckle ball gussets, diff. armor, and top truss. Knuckles rebuilt and new to me bottom knuckle pins. New tie rod ends and some new bushings. New grease, gear oil, and paint.

It's off the trailer and in the garage.

Could be ready right now. Just want to add, fix, and modify a few things.

The stock fill plug is still there. I just drain it when I pull the third.

Started a new job a couple of months ago. Not as much time to do the things I want anymore. I have not had to work a 40 hour week in 10 years. It sucks. But at least I have a job.
So, the truck has been waiting for me. Always so many things I want to do to it. The first was to lighten up the load.
