Some people call it a radius arm, I call it a torque rod, uhuh.  That there potted meats got peckers in it.  Anyway, do people just take it off when they lift their trucks?

kyle_22r

that ain't no radius arm :slap:

it'll give you more flex but it's generally not a good idea to take it off unless you go to crossover steering.  the main thing it does is control brake steer, but it'll also keep you away from breaking j-arms

if you're not gonna go with crossover, a drop torque arm might be a good investment :beerchug:

if youve jumped your truck a couple of times on asphalt and if your flexin it pretty good yah you can.  my buddy does it all the time.....

i'm probably gonna limit myself to about 2" of lift and if i ever need more i'll do crossover.

hysteer isn't too common among my buddies that wheel...i have a friend that did an SAS a year ago on his '90 truck and went through all the trouble of mounting a push pull box on it :hahaha:  another friend told me that you can't make a toyota flex well :hammer:  just goes to show what some people know

regardless, there's not too much i need to be super flexy on around my area, my truck is probably gonna be more of a messing around/fishing/camping rig.  i'm just planning on double locking it to go farther than anybody with a lot of flex and lift and open diffs :beerchug:

with a locked up solid axle toy you can go just about any where evin if its stock hight, key word almost :_oops:
