flipped my rims and MUCH more FLEX
« on: Jun 19, 2004, 04:27:30 PM »
When I ordred the 17x9 Rock Krawlers thay only came in a 5" backspace  :rivers:, so I've been driving around w/ them for 3 or so months w/ the tires rubbing on the front shocks, springs and frame, we cut the centers out w/ the good ol' plasmo, fliped the rim, then rewelded it(only welded in 8 spots from manufacturer, its now welded all the way aroun on both sided), only has about a .25" of runout, balenced them out at work, they used to rub on the frame and the front shock, but not any more, musta gained a good 6"of flex.
