Well...oddly enough...Super Bowl MMVIII is about when they'll win one. As for this year's Super Bowl (XLII)...I'm thinkin:

Patriots  35
Giants    17


And as an aside...Eli breaks down and cries by the beginning of the 4th.

Don't you remember when he was drafted? He pitched a fit, rolled around on the floor, screamed for his mumsy and swore he wouldn't play for the Chargers? I'm not sure  :yupyup: ...but I think that's when I lost what little respect I had for him.

My co-worker loses every bet we make. He already owed me a lunch so I gave him double or nothing on the superbowl and I would take the Giants. No points.

Look the guy's a complete wiener. Every time he doesn't totally hose a game, the sportscasters all say this is his breakout game. i hope the giants win just out of spite.  the patriots are like the yankees you get tired of seeing them in championship games.  plus you know how many people would lose money if the patriots lost

I love his brother, and to be honest, if he can pull off a win and look like a pro on Sunday, then I'll start respecting him. Otherwise, I think he is too immature to be where he is, but this means he will have a lot of experience later in his career.

Regarding the score, part of me wants to believe a Patriots blow-out, and the other part believes it will be close. This side of the P. Simms / L. Taylor / P. Johnson / D. Megget / S. Baker / M. Ingram, I have never liked the Giants :gap:

I say the Pats by 3 TDs.

You know, I can understand how dull it can be to see the same thing over, and over, and over. I wouldn't compare this to Baseball (which seems more of a "chance" game rather than a team game), but one thing that I want to see when I watch a Professional sport IS PROFESSIONALISM. I enjoy watching a well balanced team play perfectly, even if this means they win every game. To me it is not about the wins, it is about a group of teammates all playing on the same level, which as the Pats are in today's Football, is rare indeed.

The Pats are not even on my top team list, I just like seeing perfection from professionals.
