I got my aussie, and pulled axles, and have it down to carrier. I cant get the roll pin out tho. I tap and tap, but it only goes so far, then stops. Do I need to hit harder? What is going on? Please help. I have gotten everything else off no prob, even ring gear, but now im stuck. Help please

The carrier is usually staked so the pin won't come out on its own.   Sometimes alot of force is needed to overcome it.  Have you tried tapping it out the other end?

Just to make sure, your talking about the roll pin retaining the spider gear cross pin?

Yes, im talking about the rollpin, that holds in the shaft, that holds in the spider gears. one end is a lil more closed then the other, so im tapping it from that side out. I have 2 different sized punches, and I think ive whacked on it pretty hard, but maybe I need a bigger hammer. 79, is it really ok to drill part of the hole out, how far down should I go? Im gettin desperate here plz help!! Thanks

Hit it from the other side dumbass. It only comes out one way.
And make sure your ring gear is off.
