3VZ-E to 4 Cyl. swap in a 4Runner.
« on: Jan 23, 2008, 05:43:49 PM »
I've got a very worn out 3VZ-E V6 in my '89 4Runner.  I have always wanted to put a Toyota 4 Cyl. in it because of there simplicity.  Does any company have a kit to replace a 3VZ-E to 2RZ-E or 22RE that will bolt up to the original R150F transmission.

i would just run the 4cyl tranny. then you dont have to buy a v6 adapter to do duals and even if you dont plan to do dual u will have a stronger t case. i hate my 3.0 would like to put a semi built 22re soon
