FS stock 1985 4runner in San Diego
« on: Jan 23, 2008, 03:17:23 PM »
San Diego, $3500 obo

I'm selling my stock '85 4runner.  Has 195k miles, original engine and trans.  I've owned this vehicle for 3 1/2 years and have had very few issues.  Replaced the radiator a few years back, rebuilt the clutch master cylinder and resealed the front axle with new marlin bearings.  The knuckles are starting to leak again, think I didn't shim them quite right, but I will include a marlin kit.  Had fresh paint and body done a year ago.  Mechanically it's very sound.  The brights will click on, but not stay on and the cargo light doesn't work.  The 4runner was stolen and recovered prior to me purchasing it and the ignition key cylinder was popped out.  I've started it using a screw driver since I've owned it, but have been told that you can buy a new key cylinder from Toyota for around $100.  Any questions let me know.

I wish I lived closer.  Would rather have a runner than my 1st gen.  Price MIGHT be a little high, but I'm not sure what prices are in Cali compared to here.  Extremely clean truck though!
