Totally. Will I have to bend that tab out holding the nut?

Well I can get to this problem now, so I want to clear up some questions.
Do you thing the vibration is from a loose nut or a bad bearing?
What is involved to take out the rear seal or even the bearing?

I tightened the nut and the vibration is almost gone, way better. This took way to long to fix.

Thanks for all the info.

Well, I have to thank Duffil. While at his place to pick up a roll bar I asked him to help diagnose my vibration problem. "Your angles are good but why is your drive shaft BACKWARDS?"  :beerwhack:

Sometimes you get so far past the obvious that it you loose it. Thank you again Duffil. :beerchug:

I wheeled the Crap out of my rig on the 4th and on the way home on the highway i had the same vibration...i removed my rear drive line and sure enough the flange nut was finger loose..when i set up my duals i had to change the rear flange to put the cv joint on the tcase side and slip on the third member side....anyway i only hand tightend that flange nut...it needs to be impacted on and that notch punched in.

The whole thing was turned around. The slip end was at the rear.

that shouldnt make a difference if it has regular u joints on both ends. either way its facing the driveline operates exactly the same way

Bring this back because the problem has not alleviated itself. The T-case flange was loose and was corrected, the universals on the d-shaft are fine, now the rear third's flange in loose. I am getting a new d-shaft build and I would like to rule out all the other possible factors. Any ideas?
I would also like to re-tighten the rear third's flange, is it possible to do without messing with the compression bushing?

if the flange is loose, just torque the 30mm nut and re-punch it.   if you driveline is vibrating after everythings tight then the angles are off or your u joint bearings are bad
