When doing 4.3l swaps, what does your exhaust routing look like?
How much frame clearance do you guys have between the exhaust manifolds?

Theres anough clearance. However I pushed my engine as far back as I could to the fire wall just to make sure I had as much room as posible for the radiator and the fan. It looks like I have lost all of my pictures on my computer though, I'll have to take some new ones when I get a chance.

Mine was very tight to the frame but it did not hit. This is with stock S-10 Blazer manifolds.

What manifolds? stock (yr)?  are they all the same from early 4.3 to late?

Can you take a pic of the exhaust manifold on the pasenger side wheel well where the brake lines are? So I can see the gap between the frame?

I have the thorley headers.  Before I did the drivetrain lift the collectors were sitting on the frame rail.  After the lift there was plenty of clearance.  I ran my cross over under the converter to a Y pipe and down the driver's side to the rear. I cut a hole in the cross member and ran the tubing through it.  I had looked into putting manifolds on but after some measuring it wouldn't have gained any clearance. I'd recommend getting the motor up high in the engine compartment to gain a little clearance.  You will open some other cans of worms doing this though.  You can see my stuggle in the buildup thread The yotalet buildup.  Good luck.

I cut my hood and made it into a cal induction type to fit everything without a body lift. I didn't have a filter on top to worry about but it helped with the radiator and helped get some heat out of the engine compartment.
Sorry I don't have anymore pics. The only one of the passenger side is the last one in the other set I posted.
