I have been thinking of buying a pair of wheelspacers and slapping them on the rear axle...I think it would look cool and functional.  What do you guys think?

Your truck will feel more stable but in the front on your IFS it will make the sway bar less effective.

Hyena

I wouldn't go wider then 1 1/2 inch on a daily driver.  I plan on running 1 1/2 in spacers all around when i get done with my suspension.

SWAMPER

Cool ....ok so Ill go 1  1/2 that sounds good....Mike he who is big...so if I put wheel spacers in the front my sway bar will be less efective :headscratch:?.....Newbie question....whats a swaybar good for :smack:?

The sway bar is good for just that, to keep down the swaying. It goes from one control arm to the other.

I heard if you run wide wheel spacers it could hurt the bearings.  Is this true?  Anyone know about this?

WHITE_TRASH

Yep the spacers put more leverage on the bearings and kills them quickly.

SWAMPER

Hyena

most people run 1 1/2 in wheel spacers on the front to match the rear on sas trucks.  So i think thats the widest i would go.

But then so do rims with anything but the stock offset (not backspacing) which means just about any wider than stock aftermarket rims.

I would have to agree with Hyena  any more than that I think would start to be unsafe.  And some places will not mount your tires for you if your running wheel spacers

But wheel spacer move thw total weight of the tire and wheel out wards not just the outer bead.  I do agree that wheels put a load on bearings etc. too, but I feel that spacers are far worse.  Especially since lil swamper already has offset ifs hubs.
