Topic: 30x9.5x15 on 15x8's

I bought some 15x8 black rock crawler wheels from one of my buddies. I was wondering if they will be to wide to put on my 9.5 inch wide bfg's. Thanks

  kinda gives a sidewall bulge similar to 33x12.5 on a 10" wheel.  I've run 30x9.5 on 15x8 before and liked the way it looked.

its fine... you can pretty much mount any tire on any rim within a 4" width difference....

ive mounted 12.5 on a 6" rim

I run 31-9.5-15 Radial TSLs on 15x8....They'll work fine....one thing though....I like to air down a lot and my concern has always been loosing a bead......correct me if I 'm wrong...you are less apt to loose a bead on a narrower rim than a wider one.....aka poor man's beadlocks

You ought to be fine.  I ran 30 9.50R15s on the stock Toy 15X6 steelies

they wont, the wheel is still narrower than the tire, not the otehr way around....

i run 36x13.50 on an 15x8 rim

i had 30x9.50 bfg at's on 8.5 rims, was that way for a long time. seemed to make the tire shorter they were only 27 inch high. the tire were pretty worn out too. but even new i think 30 inch tires are really only 29 high.
