I definitely intend to stay rare :yesnod:  There isn't a shortage of people out here.  Reno did their applications online, and they were only taking 750 applicants.  They opened the process at 3pm one day, andclosed it 27 minutes later :yikes:

tehre isnt a shortage of firefighters out here..... oakland recently had 20 positions open, i htink they had somewhere like 5000 applicants

 My :bowdown: firefighter story.

I'm not a jogger but I walk. In April in Orlando they do a big 5K that is for both joggers and walkers. The first year I did this (2004) I was the only walker from my office.
Of course April in Orlando is not a cool month and that year was quite warm. I was walking and sweating and I hear all this noise from behind me.. it was applause.. I turned around and here were Orlando fire fighters in full gear (like BD is in all that yellow gear) JOGGING through the crowd!
My heart was in my throat, I was so impressed! And so happy that I was right there to experience that and have that memory.

You guys ROCK :thumbs: Jason, I so glad we got to wheel with and meet you and spotter.
