I went to PC today to make sure my new axle was ok...oh man it was wet!  :shocking:

Extremely muddy out there today!











Here some people got stuck in a lifted linked land cruiser with open f&r diffs.  They tried to winch him from the front and back.  They went at it for over 40 minutes trying to pull up horrible lines.  I think common sense finally kicked in!




Another guy stuck, this after he overheated.

Sweet pictures. I like how they tried to pull it up the steep, muddy hill lol. Reminds me of this dumbass with a 97 TJ i used to know. He got stuck on this gnarly mud hill trying to go up, strapped, stacked rocks, logs twigs and everything..made it like halfway up the hill then gave up. left his jeep out there over night, asked me to winch him the next day. I go out there, look at it for about 10 seconds, ask for the keys, and back down the hill and bypass the obstactle.    :shake: :idiot:

Is there some good mud out there? lots of mud pits and what not?

Some people just dont think! 

Well after a week of rain, hell yea there is a ton of mud.  By this weekend half of it should be dried up.  Are you still getting snow up there?

Thanks Infernal!!  Its a 10 bolt front and a 12 bolt rear with 5.38 gearing.  Yes the rims are 8", and you are correct about the bead!

Anyone planning on going out there tomorrow (MLK day), im taking advantage of the holiday and im gonna teach my girlfriend to wheel!

it was great for about 20 min then i destroyed my passengers side, i just bought it less than a week ago  :rivers:

well just outside the picture the ravine ends and it really tweaks out the suspension and it was really slippery and next thing you know your on your side

I believe that is the same spot where these pictures were taken.  Sorry man, that sucks!  Any pictures of the damage?  I hope you got it out ok.

yeah someone pulled me over, ill post some pics of the damage as soon as take a few, ive got an 84 that ive taken through there a bunch of times and i thought this truck could do it too.... guess not

WHERE THE HELL IS PRAIRIE CITY I HAVE A RIG IN FRESNO THAT IS STREET LEGAL BUT SLOW AND NO TRAILER I'D LOVE TO PLAY SOMEPLACE LIKE THIS...

Its just past Folsom on the 50.  Definitely a cool place, even better when there is no mud!

So Justin are you ready to hit some snow?? I talked to Kevin on here somewhere and he said you were down to go play in the snow.  There is a lot of good snow about 20-30 minutes out of GV. Let me know if you want to hit it up, I might be going Sunday.

i hit up some snow off norman imgrent trail off sly park rd pretty nice snow up there....probly hit it back up again this weekend....let me know there was alot of people up there on the 27th....its like an hour from prairie city..... :beerchug:
