i dont think its going to happen, it mentions making them even more cutomized to show your affiliation with a certain group? there are all sorts of groups

and this is for our regular street liocensed vehicles? or our ohv?

i can see this petition get turned into an issue, of CA requiring license plates for OHVs and making up pay a higher premium for them, instead of a fashion statement

im not to sure about the specific customization of the plates but i do like the idea of having an offroad plate like the whale tail plates putting the money towards the resturation of our parks

Just sign it and see if it goes through. If it does, then later you can choose if you wanna pay the money for such a plate. At least by signing this there is a chance for that option.

Sounds like its for all rigs, street legal or green stickered. signed it, no harm in trying. Having government officials on our side never hurts the way i see it.

from what i understand its for any vehical. again just like the whale tail plates and the california poppy plates. im guessing the money from purchasing the plates will go to maintaining ohv parks and land and it will show the general public how many people actually use these places.

i personally own 3 vehicals and every vehical i own will have one of these plates(if they go through)
