I'll try! I had a great time last year. If I can make it Ive got dibbs on the cabin. I should know for shure in a week or 2, after I have had time to talk to all my friends. I'm gonna try to get a group together, but we will see.
My hopes are atleast two of 20 will actually commit.  :snare:

Yea, probably ain't gonna happen for me and my boy, Snoop, but I'll ride with somebody if at all possible. Michael, could you get Mike to come? That'd be sweet! I'll chip in for some gas, too  :beerchug:

I'm working on it but contary to my advice he didn't desighn his truck for a rear tailgate, or a back seat, and he would have to bob the top to fit with the bobbed runner rear....Long story short him and his wife get cold easily....WIMP!

I get my r&p coming really soon(fri or monday) and then I'm ready to roll again.  :burnout:

If I make it (and fingers crossed I'm going) I should have at least 1 open seat.  Shotgun was already called, but I got 2 in the back!

My buddy called this morning and said he was going for shure, so I will be too. Were gonna talk more this after noon to figure out the best days for us. My friend Mike called Jon (mtbrjon, on pirate) and he said he might be up for it as well, as a few of his peeps.  :crossed: I'll keep m fingers crossed couse I have yet to meet him in person.  :driving:

Sheila and Ron were out of town, but I talked to their daughter, who was covering things. She said Ron and sheila are planning on New Year being a big weekend. She also said she thought the cabin was rented, but there is a place just down at Jadwin that rents out 2bedroom trailers for $20 per person a night with a $100 minimum. I may have to check into that option. :dunno: Im gona get a call back after a while about the cabin. Ae you interested in this as well, or r u camping this year?

I would be interested in the cabin on the property.....Its really nice... I dun stayed there before

I would prefer to stay on property; if the cabin is rented out I'll just pick a nice cozy spot in the snow for my tent  :biggthumpup:


I was askin about which days cause last year I know that I (and maybe a couple other buds) left ON New Years when the event was just starting....I think last year the event was only on New years day....cause we were the only people down there for like 3 days before New years

Looks like your gnna be snuggling in the tent again! I couldn't get the cabin for that weekend. It is rented till monday.

With the suggestions of the fella looking after the park for Ron and Sheila I put my name in for a 4 bedroom 1 1/2 bath  mobile home, with 5 beds. The name of the place is Barton's Lodging a their number is (573) 729-6288, and they are 2 miles from the park, near Jadwin.  I think they rent them out to vacationers who spend their summers at the river. They said they had one more of their other redneck cabins avaliable (six beedroom 2ba) The rest of the places are winterized but if our group got bigg enough they could open one up. They also said they have a place to get air and stuff along with plenty of parking.

I'm still not legal, and Trunkz won't have time off work/ won't wanna go/ the planets won't be in the right alignment BS, so what's my chances of riding with someone? I can chip in fer gas, and i can get to STL.

Ron called me back today! He said he just got off the phone with John from Alpine Autoworks , and is looking foward to hitting some trails with us. Man I'm getting phsyked up!  :driving:  :burnout:

Fullsizes on the trails seem rare, its gonna be interesting to watch him manover that thing. You should have seen the look on Rons face when a fella tried following us down the all day sucker trail last summer. He was knocking more trees than rocks.

I had a full size blazer before going toyota. My old blazer was built strong, but it still couldn't hang. 3/4 tons on 36s and it would haul ass.

Hey Guys!  I would be interested in Going to Flatnasty as well.  I'm not sure who is who here based in your forum names but Victor pointed me to this website.    What is the scoop for New Years Day?    I know of a few FJ80's going down there on the 29th too.  Also have any of you considered washita off road park in Farmington?
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
