90s pickup with an 85 frame swap

ok im 16 and im getting either a late 80s or eairly 90s toy pickup and i have been looking for an 85 but they are hard to come by in my parts and the two i have seen were junk and i dont have the money to start off with junk cuz i only get 6.00 an hour and i was thinking could i swap the frame out to an 85 and such to make it eaiser and cheaper on me because i dont have a welder and i dont have the money for a solid alex swap.

all the 84-88 cabs will bolt up the same...as long as its a reg cab going onto a reg cab frame or an extra cab onto an extra cab frame.. if you do what im doing you will have to buy a welder and get some fabrication skills ... anything 3rd gen will require weling and other custom fab..

ok thats what i kinda thought wasnt to sure i like the look of the lates 80s trucks anyways my brother has an 89 toy 4 runner v6 that he is buliding up but its taken him awhile its got 32 bfg all terrains used to have 31 muds but those things wore like crap and only lasted a year but anyways he just got a new idler arm and warn hub cuz his old auto hubs went out and he is locked in rear with a lock right and hes 3 inch shakels in rear and a allpro front bumper with the spray on bed liner stuff its pretty sweet he has to pay off his debt to my parents b4 he can get anything else but i think he is either getting sliders or a rear bumper then someday he will go soild front swap but anyways he is heading out to moab tomorrow lucky b*std. were are you at im in co
