I finished my side job, 4dees wheels, and few other things....so now I can start making some progress on my pile o parts.  :)    I messed with the stinger and winch plate yesterday. Trying to fit them up a little bit better. I am going to go and get the smog canister I am missing right now.  I got all the rear suspension stuff I needed to put leafs under the rear to get through smog. My goal is to make the night run in August. :crossed:

I don't care as long as someone is payin!!!   :rofl2:  I haven't got much done today! I have been screwing around with the A/C system in the house. Working good now....well, at least a whole lot better than before.  :) I got the steering pump pulled off, to put on the PSC pump. I have to clean the brackets and pull the A/C compressor off. The drag link, compressor, and the idler pulley are trying for the same piece of real estate at full compression.  :headscratch:   So away goes the A/C stuff. I guess I could go do that...... :burnout:

I have decided not to finish this. I am going on to something else. Anyone want the body and frame?

  Here is why!!  :bayer:

  Wait for it......

It will be cut up into a cross between a landcruiser and a buggy. All of the parts out of the runner will go into it. I'll start a new thread on it soon.

P.S. Yes I have offically lost my mind!!! :screwy: :rofl2: :rofl2:

Yeah, I was hating the fact of having to deal with smog and other things with the runner. I can't deal with having a crap load of money in a vehicle that I can't drive to the store. It's a pet peeve of mine!  :dunno: I found this on Ebag, out in the desert. I got it on sunday. I got it registered already. New plates and all....not that I run plates but that's another story  :talkingn:  The runner was fun but I have wanted a cruiser for a while. I could not find one to cut up for a price I was willing to pay until this one came up.  Thankfully I was dragging my feet on the runner but, now it's full steam ahead. I pulled the fenders and the bumper off today. The bumper was welded to the frame.  :shake:

Plates are the way to go. My "new" Jeep buggy has plates (reminds me I need to register it  :smack:). With a green sticker you can't do all of the Big Bear trails or drive on the street in AZ. :gap:

Have you set a timetable on this build yet? :dunno:

As soon as humanly possible. I cleaned the spot where it's sitting, last night. I got it registered and pulled the fenders and bumper, today. Tomorrow, I hope to get everything under the hood pulled out and start working on the motor mounts.  I gotta go to the dump right now...later!!

I am using the entire driveline, axles, and everything possible out of the runner. I got a phone call yesterday and someone might be picking up the leftovers.  :crossed:
