Newbie from Pollock Pines
« on: Nov 14, 2007, 10:30:43 AM »
I've been wheeling for about 10 years now. Been an active member for ToyotaOffRoad.com for about 7 years. I've been getting most of my parts form Marlin Crawler and just figured it should be about time that I join the board. Better late then never.

I do want to say thanks to Marlin for all their great products and great service. I live at the most 20 minutes form Inchworm, but would rather wait a day or two for Marlin Crawler to ship me what I need, and know it's made right. Thanks again Marlin, and your staff too.

I have two rigs, both 85 TOYs powered by a stock 22R. One ("Blue") is a street legal with a 4.7 dual case 5.27s in stock Toyota axles 9" S/L and 3" B/L and rolling on 36" STL's.

It was originally blue until I tore it down to repaint it from a roll over I had last October. During this time my car got totaled so I had to throw a quick primer job on it and put it back together.

The other is a caged play only rig ("Toyzilla") with a 4.7 T-case and Dana 44 w/ a Detroit locker up front, a welded Dana 60 in the rear, and rolling on 38’s. Winter plan is to add a dual case to it too and start on a costum flat bed.

...I prefer mine in a jar on my desk.

3 CAT scans a MRI and some time with the shrink and it's comfirmed. I'm just not right in the head.

I've gone wheeling in the snow, but if you're talking about snow on the Con then I haven't done that yet. Should be fun. I'll also let you know about any trips that I might be going on when I can. Most of them are spur of the moment, pack up and go.
