splitting a 3.0 and an 85 4cyl wiring harness

im putting a 22re into my new project truck that had a 3.0 in it and i need info on how to adapt the engine harness to the in dash harness of a 3.0 A link or info would be greatly apreciated. Or suggestions on how i could make it go smoother... like if i used a 22re in dash harness how would i get all my ignition and lights guages exc exc to work...

Get a wiring diagram and some tape to label your wires

Just thought of a problem... am i going to have legal smog problems with puting an 85 22re into an 89-94 3.0 cab? or am i going to have to have current smog crap wiht the 89-94 trucks that had 4cyl?

I think i might be able to just cut off the 4cyl in dash plug and slice it into the 3.0 harness... just need a wiring diagram.. not shure if everything will work though..
