I just signed up and mentioned this in the newbie section but I thought I'd get more attention here. I have an 86 pick-up  with a 22re and auto trans(not sure what the model # is for it). but I need to find out what I've got to do to get dual t-cases and keep the auto trans. Is this even possible? Any help would be appreciated.
thanks

I have the same dilema. I've been told that you can't bolt a Marlin Crawler to the A340.

To install a dual case, you need a auto trans that has a unboltable t-case. It always will have a manual shift handle and is found on 93-98 T100's and 96-newer Tacoma, 4 runners. If your trans uses 9 bolts to attach the transfercase to the back of the trans, then a Marlin would bolt right on using my 1/2" adapter plate to a 23 spline gear driven t-case.

For some info on swapping your auto for a 5 speed check out this thread.

Good luck and keep us posted.
Size doesn't matter... yet.

A good friend will bail you out, but your best friend will be sitting next to you saying "that was f---ing awesome."

We do not have plans to support the older auto trannys at this time.
