So What Do The Unemployed Do With All This Free Time?

Well after what happened yesterday at work I've had enough, standing in my latest store with only a cook and my boss not answering his phone (a 24hr requirement) I realized that it ain't worth my health so I left him a nasty (nothing that he can use against me) message on his phone that he'd better have his behind in the store pronto. When he showed up I left. Now unemployed a little early I'm bored, so what do the unemployed do with all this extra time? I've never experience this phenomenon before so give me some suggestions on something to do that doesn't involve spending any money.

Too hot sitting in the park and I don't drink beer, cheap wine or malt-liquor

Go down to an appliance store and pick up an old refrigerator box. Go down by the canals and stake out a prime spot under a bridge. Go to the Snotsdale area and hassle shoppers. Enjoy!
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first.

I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.

I have been unemployed since March now and I find that by staying home I don't spend money on anything.  Send out some resumes.  Sleep.  Throw a BYOB party!

I went as a bum 2years ago for halloween.  Take a shower, but don't use soap.  do not shave. go outside and smear yourself and your clothes with dirt.  Find some good friends to throw you through some bushes. This is key...I won the best costume b/c everyone said I really smelled homeless. :_oops:

Realism wins out every time!  I could go as a grouch on halloween and not have to change a thing :ack:

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

That's too bad, they probably kept them because you cost more than them combined. I pretty much had enough of the bs and was thinking about it when we were in FJ, that pretty much sealed the deal it was the first time in a year that I'd really be out. Too much work and no play makes Rocksurfer a grumpy boy. Sadly I'm moving back to CA and will seek some work there, on a bright note though I'll be as close to the Hammer's as I was to FJ.
