I had a 38 do this and hit a guy in the next lane in the foot.  He brought the bullet over to me.  I still have it in my gun cleaning case.

what happened?  it looked like a hockey puck richochet?

It would appear that the bullet ricocheted off the iron(last thing said in the video) target and hit the shooter in the side of the head.  Can't say you see too many straight back richochets like that, usually the bullet deformation sends it off in another direction
