electronic speedometer troubles 94 pickup

yep,   one of my local guys triophan  on TTORA ,  his 94 truck  speedo  quit,  i was going to give him a cable  but  realised  he has the electric speedo sensor.    what does he need to check??   did the  sensor go out??  :dunno:  fuse ??

Check the wiring connection to the sensor to make sure it is clean. if no change, the sensor is fubar. Replacement, last i checked here, was $214. May get lucky in a junkyard. Or, get an older cable type gear and get Marlin's adapter. That would probably be cheaper.
It ain't worth doin' if you don't have to clean up afterwards!

Build it, break it, fix it, repeat until your wallet is empty.
