so i need to street tires badly and procomp is having the yearly buy 3 get one free sale so im gonna scoop some up.  I need 35" for 15" rim.  Tires will be mainly for street use but I will make a point of driving in the worst weather possible for the next 4 months(duck season) and would like to not be crashing on wet roads and such. and wouldnt be suprised to need 4wheel drive a few times or be in the snow some times. What ones should I get? im not too worried about price but it is kinda a thought.             All terrains- $540
Xterrains- $695
Xmudterrains-$671

I also dont know want to be getting a new set next year. I drive usually between 3 and 5 hundred miles a week and dont wanna look like a f*g cruising around with gay ass tires (your opinion if any of these will have that effect?)  Let me know

MiniSimp

I say xterrains and baby it on the street.

the deal on the all terrain blems sounds pretty good but I really dont know if I want to go with an all terrain

Yota4life

Well the extreme mud terrain looks like a MTR nock off so they get my vote over the rest of them

All terrain will get you the most mileage. X-terrain will get the worst mileage. Since you already have a decent trail tire, I'd say the all terrain or the mud.

has anyone ever ran the pro comp all terrain?

freds40

Guy I used to work with ran them on a Powerstroke (heavy) with towing and got 45-50k out of them. He didn't wheel it at all.

HAVE YOU LOOKED AT COOPER TIRES?? I AM NOT A FAN OF PRO CRAP ANYTHING
HIGH AND TIGHT OFFROAD

Ramrod

they come with a 50000 mile treadware warranty. but thats not the top of my priority.  The main reason Im interested in the procomp is because of the buy 3 get one free deal that cooper tires does not offer

BLINGN runs ProComp All Terrains and we've both been impressed by them.  Not at all a fan of the mud terrains, when I ran them they wouldn't hang on to anything, but the X-Terrains are okay.

Hmm... good point.  I'm assuming it was the old ones, since I have had them since 2005.  Sorry :smack:

If you have lots of rain, get the ATs.   Here in So Cal, where we've had 3.5 inches of rain this year, yeah... not such a big deal running MTs.

Ramrod

so its supposed to rain 3-6 inchs in the next couple days, If I dont kill myself with the welded rear and bald tires I have now im gonna buy some tires tomorrow when I get home.  I think im gonna get the xmudterrains just because i think they'll be better during the times when I do go offroad and look alot better on the truck than the ats

i agree, get those then you can still wheel with decent tires if your in your area and dont need to slap on the big dawgs unless your going to hit up a real wheeling trip.

I ran the Pro comp Xterrains.  For what we have for trails and terrain (muddy and little rock) they wern't all that good and they had uber stiff sidewalls.  I kept rolling beads off with 8psi on a 10" rim.  go with the mud terrains, they look like a decent tire.  my 2cents
