I think the guy that did the Ultimate Taco has also done most of the other Ultimate Adventure rigs including the K10, FJ, and Clampy. They all look pretty sweet. But yeah, more time than I have on my hands hehe.

thanks guys, i got the FJ body off of a cheap rc car that i got from walmart. i was shopping for toys for my little cousin and i came across this fj so i bought the car and strip the body and threw it on my crawler

I am guessing its an Axial under there from the color of the links and look of the axles. I am looking at getting one of these at some point, but still cant decide between a Losi and Axial based

Nice Marc! Did you have to adjust the Honcho wheelbase to fit that 4runner body or does it bolt up with the stock WB? Been considering that Runner body for a while but wasn't sure what it would take to make it work wheelbase-wise. Looks great.

how much does one of those first gen bodies cost?

It comes in several pieces. The Cab is about $20, the emblems, grill and logos is around $10-$20 IIRC, and the bed is like $20-30. There is also a hardware kit and the backing piece to the cab but they seem to be hard to locate.
