I have a 85 extra cab yota and its my daily driver until I'm done building up so when I get something for it I get something that is good for offroad not just street.I wont to get the 5 inch leaf springs from marlin but I will be making long trips in it and I have heard that marlins are to flexy for highways and I will roll really bad on corners going fast.Is there any truth about this and if so does any body have any suggestion what to get.

the marlins are fine for street use, with 5" of lift, dont mob with it, and you arent going to roll it... you must realize this is a lifted truck and not a indycar

I have driven mine well over 200,000 miles with a 4 to 5 inch lift. Never had a sway bar. Drive it like a truck & not a race car & you will be fine as Jimbo said already.

i got marlin springs on my first gen dd drove the :pokinit: out of it on road with both 35 and 37s had plenty of body roll but could never lift up a front tire just the back. but anything with a lift and no sway bars has the potentail to roll if you are scared which you shouldent make extensions for your sway bar.
