man i have bad luck with 4 legged critters on highway 87 between san angelo and fredricksburg down here in texas. was headed from midland to san antonio 2 days ago and hit a baby deer with the 4runner doin 70. bent the bumper but nothin a hammer couldnt fix (besides the smell).

thats now 3 animals i've hit on that road, and i've been driving 3 different vehicles lol!

89 suburban-hit a 15 point buck, broke the grill and 2 headlights.
86.5 nissan pickup-hit a dog (i tried to avoid it but it ran the same way i pulled), bent one of the tow hook mounts.
87 toyota 4runner-baby deer (no more than 40 pounds). bent the bumper but was able to straighten it back out.

last time i was in Texas i hit a deer I was on a dirt road only going about 10mph and the damn thing ran right in front of me. it just rolled under the truck and then got up and took off. stupid thing
