high-tec retreads?

Ok, so I've heard the horror stories about retreads, but I'm curious about these from High-tec. They have a 2year / 24k warranty, and I've been reading good things from a couple people who have actually tried them.  Anyone here have any info on these?

for a d/d I don't know I would use recaps..shakes and balance issues...For a trail rig I think would be ok..I wonder how a recap would react to being run with low air pressure..I wonder if it would cause a problem with the way the tread sticks to the casing.. :dunno:
