I bought the truck back in 2000 for 500 bucks, I was completely new to Toyotas back then. the same day I bought it I pulled and installed a new long block! before that I never seen a 22RE :)

after 7 years of trail and error and upgrading....replacing, doing it wrong, I finally got close to what I wanted Bluey to be  :greengrin:

truck looks real clean. i saw the same post on trail gear's forum. do you have a trail gear lift or a Marlin crawler lift?

The rear springs are TG. most of the rest is Marlin.

This weekend I started to install the 2.6L Pro Stroker EFI I bought.

I can't wait to get it in and running...... but first I have to get the Crawl box I ordered. I'm going to install everything at the same time. :)

NICE!
I cut the back of my 4Runner off.  Not as exciting...but at least I have something to werk on.  More exciting is I looked at FL tickets for Thanksgiving and they are pretty reasonable.  You guys wanna kook a turkey??  MUAHAHAHAHAHA!

well... took an extra plenum and intake runner I had lying around and did some gasket matching and polishing on them. Its smoooooother than a babies arse! :cheese: did some grinding and smoothing out on the exterior of the plenum, and tomorrow I will be shooting them Black....with some blue pearl (cause I can) :thpst:...LOL then clearing them with PPG's new ceramic clear...WERD! :afro2:
the "EFI" logo on the plenum will be buffed to a mirror shine.... :bling:

which part is the mex chrome?  The plenum?  THe valve cover looks decent.
