well my buddy's going to hook me up on a set of 35/12.50/15 xterrains with wheels for 550 so that will go on first after i get the truck then i plan on putting in d/c and 5.29 and maybe a 5 speed and some detroits and maybe some all pro springs. so it'll get wheeled isnt going to be a mallcruiser. the rubicon will be its first wheeling trip

Well I got bad news you bunch of thread jacking   panzies   You guys missed out on a killer deal  he came and picked the truck up yesterday and drove it home. It hadn't been started in over 2 weeks, he came and brought a new battery, turnded the key to on pumped the gas a few and fired it up  Good luck Josh

i fixed what litlle things it needed took it out wheeling and ended up jumping the dang thing. its a tough little cookie. hell the carb probally fine i find a few vacumn leaks that needs fixed thats all so ill post pics when i bob the bed

well the rubicon fell through but we went to the high lakes and did some wheeling. first i broke u joint then overheated a dozen times no biggie the water pump blew a gasket and then i bent the hell out of the centerlink was able to bend it back and the last i did was brake a bead off but fixed it also but ended up coming with a broken front shaft.

Man sorry to hear that  I would take that lectric fan and wire it backwards and put it on the front of the radiator and put a manual fan back on it . And the U joint went in the front shaft, damn that sucks. How well did it run though ? Besides that did it treat you right  ?

it was the rear shaft u joint at the tranny that went but i put in the front to get home. the manual fan is going back on and i didnt think about putting the fan on the front. it wheeled great for open diffs and no gears. got stuck a couple of times but that was do to bumpsteer going the wrong way. power steering and crossover is coming real soon. it ran great no probs with the carb just a pesky exhuast leak that if fixed twice now and it keeps coming back but third time a charm

A trick I learmed on my old ford was get 2 header gaskets and double them up , and put them on . Tkae the truck out a get it up to running temp and give all the exhaust bolts another crank.

I'm running duel eletic fans on my truck one in front and one in back. the one in front is only contoled by a switch in the cab. the one in the rear is on a them switch so it's atuo.  blows though the rad. and then my oil cooler.

the toyota did break a bead , bent the tie rod ,overheated fiive or six times,wasted what was left of the rear u joint,and caused carbon monoxside poisoning to poor s.o.b  that road with him . as far as getting stuck it was the drivers fault . you got a good deal  for what you paid  the toyota did take one hell of a beaten  and you still drove home with it . are you going to have it going  for the trip to the rubicon  i found the fan shroud  if you want it  let me no  and il send it down  with the seats, and other crap

hell ya im game for the rubicon but i dont know about brian. yes i want the fan shroud. the carbon monoxide poisen was the passengers fault for riding with me. im eliminating the heat shield and doubling the gasket and putting high temp silicone on it so hopefuly that will fix that problem.got a new water pump for it goes on tommorrow.hopefuly ill have a new tie rod by the time we go to the rubicon.i got two new u joints for the rear so no more noises there. so im really close to being ready for the trip. i did beat the hell out of the truck but thats what its for

i talked to brian tonight he said him and his dad had words and hes saying good by friday its about time  i got about a fu@king  truck load of parts for you try to get them down  to  his house this week o yea do you still want that tube bumper for your runner
