Hello everyone!   Glad to be apart of the forum....I have a 1995 toyota 4Runner 3.0 with 68,000 orig miles........blown HG twice!!!   And I still love this truck.  The reason I came was to buy some used Aisin hubs not knowing there was a forum...this is nice....I will poke my head in here a few times....thanks

Welcome to the board.  Im sure youll gain a lot of knowledge if you hang around here.  If you have any questions feel free to ask.  If you still need the hubs I pulled a set off of a 94 today that are by far the cleanest Ive ever seen.  Absolute perfection!  Ill let them go very cheaply just cause Im such a nice guy :)

The pics kinda suck but if you look closely you can see that they still have their factory grease in them.  The truck was owned by a highschool girl that bought the truck "cause it was cute and had nice wheels"  :shake:  From the looks of things i dont think the hubs were ever used!  The outer star gasket is intact, but the inner flange gasket is torn.  So youll need those or just use rtv like I do.

Welcome to the newbie  boy 2 head gaskets, that sucks.  Have you checked to see if that was one of the rigs with a head gasket problem? Some people got a new motor out of the deal   :dunno:

Dealer changed the first one......I had to pay for this one...Dealers in Maryland have no pride....You could see where they left parts of the gasket on the surface the first time.    Think it was just a bad job......Truck has never run better..had the pistons cleaned of carbon the heads cleaned...Pinging is gone!   Wife said to get rid of it!  We even looked at new ones......but I really like this truck.  I have so much money into now that I can't afford to get rid of it anyway......this is a list of stuff I have done in the last 2 months.....except for shocks and springs.
1. Changed HG
2. Dynomax 21/4 exhaust....new cat also
3. Timing belt, water pump, idler pully, tensioner
4. sparkplugs, cap & Rotor, new wires
5. Fuel filter
6. O2 sensor (Denso)
7. Brakes
8. Tranny fluid, both diffs, trans case
9. Anti freeze flush
10. cleaned Throttle body
11. Tires at 38 psi
12. changed to Mobil 1 synthetic...engine flush before that with Auto RX
13. new air filter
14. PCV valve
15. front end alignment
16. new tires
17, all new drive belts
18. Getting rdy to put on manual locking hubs, new rotors, rebuilt brake calipers..one of mine are sticking
19. also lube drive shaft and all other lube points
20. Downey coils
21. Bilsteins shocks all around
22. ordered a new rear bumper...old one rusting....only rust on truck.

Might even repack bearings when I put on Rotors.......how long can you go without repacking bearings?  Very little wheeling :nope:

Might as well repack them cause there gonna be out and it's not hard at all just kind of messy if you have to do it by hand
