Topic: Headed out to check out the Con from the air!

I'm a Private Pilot and finally found the time to rent a plane for several hours this evening to fly up and check out the Con from the air. I've been wanting to do it for a while but it's never worked out. I'll try and get some pictures but I'm thinking it probably doesn't look like much from the air. Loon and Buck will be easy to spot though. I'm taking off out of Davis and I'll probably land in Placerville for a rest on the way back. Should be a sweet trip!!

Oh, I have to render the helicopter ride video I took last year at MCR5. I'll post it on my photobucket. That was really cool.
The helicopter was up there from a Jeeper Jamboree the week before, Cruzila was up there for that and called Marlin to ask if he wanted the helicopter guy to hang around.
So for $50 you got about a 10-15 minute ride up the trail to Loon and back again. It was so cool.
